Digital System Streamlines Rental Procedures

Sharjah Municipality has introduced a streamlined rental process in collaboration with the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), accessible through the "Aqari" online platform. This new service simplifies and accelerates rental contract approvals, eliminating the need for physical visits and paperwork. The system automatically verifies submitted lease information against existing municipal data, then forwards the approved contract to SEWA.

Tenants receive a text message detailing the required electricity deposit amount. Upon payment, their electricity connection is activated promptly. This digital integration between government entities reflects Sharjah's commitment to providing efficient and convenient services.

The process involves submitting the rental contract via the Sharjah Municipality system. The system then automatically verifies the contract. The approved contract is sent electronically to SEWA, and the tenant receives a text message with the deposit amount. Finally, upon payment confirmation, SEWA activates the electricity service. This entire process is designed to be quick and seamless.
